Designing for the Way We Work Today As the workplace continues to evolve, so did our thinking when creating this space. Embracing hybrid work, we used real building usage data and employee feedback to strategically determine the right size and space types for our team. We even piloted new layouts with select teams to test, learn, and refine our design based on what worked in real life. The Solution We designed a smaller, purpose-driven footprint that prioritizes flexibility, collaboration, and well-being. At the heart of the space is an open, social hub, surrounded by distinct team neighborhoods—each offering a sense of ownership and access to the tools needed for productive in-office days. How We Work Our free-address model means no assigned desks, but each team controls its area—tailoring it to their needs. Every neighborhood includes: Enclosed rooms for privacy Meeting spaces for focused collaboration Shared zones for storage, display, and teamwork This model supports diverse workstyles while maintaining a 1:1 desk-to-person ratio to ensure a balance of flexibility and belonging. On the Room panel, check the meeting schedule displayed. Find the scheduled meeting on the panel and tap the Join button next to the meeting. The Teams Room system will automatically connect to the meeting, activating the room’s microphone, speakers, and camera. Open the Microsoft Teams app on your laptop. Navigate to the same meeting in the Calendar. Tap Join and select Don’t Use Audio. Share using Teams interface on laptop.
